Mumbai: Bollywood actor John Abraham has filed an appeal in the sessions court against the judgment, claiming that the prosecution had failed to prove the case.
The Bandra Magistrate Court had sentenced John Abraham to Fifteen days of simple imprisonment. However, he got immediately released after imposing a fine of Rs 1500.
In April 2006, John Abraham had allegedly knocked down two people, Shyam Kasbe (22) and Tanmay Majhi (19) with his bike in suburban Khar while on his way back from a Galdrags modelling event.

However, the actor who was also injured took both the persons to a nearby hospital before he himelf got admitted to Lilawati Hopsital. Both the persons got discharged later.
According to the appeal filed by the actor in the sessions court, the statements given by the victims did not indicate that it was his John’s fault.
