According to the latest Bollywood buzz, Imran Khan and Avantika Malik has decided to tie the knot in court on 8th January, 2011. This will be exactly one year after they were engaged.
The duo got engaged earlier this year and since than speculation were floating when and where the wedding ceremony will take place.
As per tabloids paper Mumbai Mirror, the 27-year-old actor, who wants to keep the whole affair private, has recently confirmed the reports.
“I am from a Muslim family and Avantika belongs to a Hindu family. I personally didn’t commit our wedding to one religion or another. We felt the best way for us was to keep it neutral and have a court marriage,” said Imran.
Imran, who has a very busy schedule will soon start shooting for Karan Johar productions “Short Term Shaadi” in Las Vegas with Kareena Kapoor from November 26 and will be back on December 16.
And after completing shoots Imran will take a break of tweenty days for his wedding.
