
New Delhi: Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni turns 30 on July 7. Dhoni, who was born in 1981, Jharkhand is the first International cricketer from the state.
The year 2011 had been fantastic for the Indian skipper as the Indian cricket team won World Cup for the first time in 28 years and also taking his IPL team Chennai Super Kings to a 2nd successive title.
Many people are aware that Dhoni had worked as a ticket collector in Indian Railways at the age of 20 and used to hit the ball long and hard on a ground in Kharagpur when off duty.
At present, he is the biggest brand value endorsing more than 20 brands.
Recently, he celebrated his first marriage anniversary on July 4 with wife Sakshi who even accompanying Dhoni to many of his matches and tours.
And while turning 30, there are no signs of him slowing down despite the the overload of cricket. In fact, it looks like he will remain at the top for at least another couple of years.
