Skoda Rapid a C+ segment car designed by Skoda India for Indian buyers.

Skoda India is all set to roll out the first car from the Skoda brand, which has been specially designed for Indian customers. The automaker has begun the production of Skoda Rapid at the same plant (Chakan, Pune) where Vento is also manufactured.
Based on the Volkswagen Vento, the Rapid will be priced a little lower, but the design is kept very basic and familiar.
Skoda Rapid 2011 will compete with some most popular cars in India like Honda City, Volkswgen Vento, New Hyundai Verna, New Ford Fiesta, Chevrolet Aveo, Fiat Linea and Tata Indigo Manza.
The car is expected to be launched six variants with features like will feature power windows, powers steering, remote central locking, manual air-contioner, rear defogger, steering adjustment etc. In addition to these features the top variant of Skoda Rapid will also feature Dual SRS airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution).

Skoda Rapid Launch Date in India
