Supreme Court bans tobacco products in plastic pouches
New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India today imposed a ban on the sale tobacco products in plastic pouches from March next year. According to reports, the court has set March 2010 as the deadline within which the manufacturers need to implement its order by shifting to more eco-friendly packaging materials.
